Overview
Bali is often referred to as the island ‘holy water’ because of the countries number of scared springs in Bali and because holy water is the key element in their purification ceremonies. One of the five elements, water represents flow of energy. Balinese participate in water blessing regulary called, melukat and believe these ritual assist in cleaning our bodies on the physical, emotional and spritituals levels.
